HOW TO FORMAT YOUR COMPUTER USING WINDOW XP (DO IT YOURSELF)

Formating of computer is one of the simplest and easiest thing you don't need to call on anybody for help before you do it yourself, but some find it very difficult today, but today we would go through, i mean step by step, to see how you can format your computer without any problem, or any assistant of other. Let get started, first of all get your computer setting to boot from CD, if you find that difficult ask for assistance am ready to assist at any time. once you get that set, let start with first step

1 STEP
insert the window XP CD in your CD/DVD rom once you slot the CD into your computer and the settings to boot from CD is set, you will see this on your computer, once it start blinking asking you to "press any key to boot from CD" press it immediately

after pressing any key, allow it to perform some actions like copying the file to installed, after copying and set the necessary file, you will be taking to the next step, where you will see this

2 STEP

Once press D on your keyboard to delete the partition, and you will be ask to confirm it by pressing L
when you have done the above, the next thing to press "ENTER" in your keyboard to enter setup on the selected partition
Once you press "ENTER" you will be taking to the next level, where you are to select the format type.

3 STEP

in this level you will see four option for formatting, in this case, you can use "format the partition using the NTFS file system" when you select it the system will start formatting, once it finish format, it would still reboot, and when it reboot, it would ask you to press any key to boot from CD again, but ignore it this time, don't press any key, after some second it would bring the following actions

after some times, you will be ask to enter your product key, which is written in the pack of the CD

insert the product key and click on next, so that we can go the next level,you will see that the job is getting done
after some times you will be taking to where you will you will select the network type,

in this case you can choose "Typical setting" then click on next,
NOTE: In the process of installation don't try to remove the CD or DVD, allow it to boot from the beginning till it reach the end,
your window should be ready by now, get the firewall connection on, and other settings that are needed to complete the setup, by now your new window should be ready for use, you can install the necessary drivers that are not install like sounds, media etc
